Hostages plot
"Right out of Hitler's cracking Fortress Europe"
Czechoslovakia is occupied by Nazi Germany. The resistance fighter Milada, the daughter of the Nazi collaborator Lev Pressinger, is suspected, along with 25 other villagers, of the murder of a German officer, who actually committed suicide. They are held hostage by the Gestapo, who threaten to take serious action against them if the culprit is not identified. The Gestapo is offering 50,000 Crowns for the snitch.
