Hoffman's Honger plot

Felix Hoffman arrives in Prague in 1989 as Dutch ambassador. He still mourns his two dead children, suffers from insomnia and searches for the truth in the books of Baruch de Spinoza. He fills his awake nights with gorges and boozing. In Prague, Felix finds himself in a world of political intrigue. The CIA has to help the valuable Czech spy Irena Nova flee to the West, and Felix unwittingly plays a key role in that operation.
