Hitler vor Gericht plot
April 1, 1924. To the cheers of the public, one of the most momentous errors of judgment in German history is announced: Adolf Hitler is sentenced to only five years in prison for high treason after the bloody coup attempt of November 9, 1923. Even before then, this is a clear violation of the law. One reason for this shameful ruling was the deliberate appointment of right-wing conservative judge George Neithardt. However, it was not there to protect Hitler, but to hide the involvement of senior government officials. A foul game, in which Hitler was more the joker than king.
