High & Outside plot

Phil (Phil Donlon) has been associated with baseball since birth. His father, Len Harding (Geoffry Lewis), is a legend in the sport and he has known nothing but baseball in his life. Now that Phil is 33 years old and his father is no longer active as a player in the sport, he is trying to step out of the shadow of his famous father and wants to make a career in the sport that will always be linked to his family. Whether he will make it at the highest level, however, remains to be seen as his relationship threatens to end, he finds himself in need of money and he is also refused at the last club that gave him hope of a breakthrough.
