Hellé plot

Hellé is a deaf-mute girl who lives in nature and whom no one pays attention except some woodcutters who try to seduce her. She was never educated and does not know the difference between good and evil. Her mother died at birth and the mountains and forests are all that Hellé knows. Until the day Fabrice, an adolescent, spends his summer vacation in the area and discovers a true, pure love in her. When his brother returns traumatized from the Vietnam War some time later, this leads to a tragedy for the whole family.
