Haywire plot
After short marriages to Henry Fonda and William Wyler, Margaret Sullavan found her happiness as the wife of producer Leland Hayward and as the mother of their three children. At least it seemed that way, but that marriage too crumbled and the children began to rebel violently. In addition, despite her success on the stage and the big screen, she did not want to be seen as a star, but as an ordinary housewife and mother. However, the facade played tricks on her and her family and she eventually took a drastic act.
