Großmutters Courage plot

At the age of 80, Henriette (Inge Meysel) is suddenly faced with a major task: she must raise her grandson Marco (Philipp Niederson) on her own. At the age of twelve, he has just entered puberty and also has to deal with the loss of his parents after an accident. Henriette encounters all kinds of opposition from government agencies, who want to place the boy in a foster family, because they think Henriette is too old.
