Grace plot

Gracie, like her late mother, is an alcoholic. One day, she wakes up half dressed on the beach of a small Florida town, 1,100 miles from her home in New York. She has no idea how she got here and this time her father doesn't help her either. When she is drunk again and is charged with public intoxication and assaulting a cop, she is given a choice: go to jail for 6 months or attend 90 meetings of the AA in 90 days. However, she is not allowed to return to New York. She is not familiar with the fact that people actually care about her. Can this small community help her stay off the booze?
