Good Chemistry plot

One day, Toby, a gifted chemistry teacher (Lance Lee Davis), stops his car on a quiet stretch of the Ozark highway to help what appears to be a young woman with bad luck. However, appearances can be deceiving: young woman Laurie (Brooke Anderson) is on the run from the police and her boyfriend Jeff (Lawrence Turner). He demands from Toby to drive along, but is also involved in criminal transactions in which he has built up a huge debt. With Laurie as a somewhat reluctant accomplice, Jeff kidnaps Toby and keeps him hidden in an abandoned farmhouse. He wants Toby to manufacture synthetic heroin for him as a medium of exchange for a group of Colombian drug criminals called "Familia Sin Amore". When Toby resists, he is pressured by Jeff who is aided by a local mobster called "Judge Bass" (Mike L. Thomas). They kidnapped Annette, Toby's ex-wife. Toby has no choice but to cooperate or Annette will be killed!
