Henry Norman leaves his wife Rose for a few weeks and is eager to research his new novel about the elderly. He goes to live in a retirement home, where Blossom, the young maid of the house, falls in love with him. However, when she lets him know how she feels, Henry tells her that he has a wife. When his investigation is over, he returns to her, only to discover that she has eloped with his friend Perry Westley,
