Gibbi - Westgermany plot

After a long time at sea, Gibbi (Jörg Pfennigwerth) returns to Hamburg. Here he visits his daughter, whose mother is married, his old friends and his mother (Eva-Maria Hagen) and his friend (Kiev Stingl). The relationship with his mother is tense and aggressive and after yet another argument, Gibbi is admitted to a clinic. After his release, he wants to leave again, but he discovers that he really can't live without his mother.
