Funk plot

In the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, funk reigns supreme. And for Sabrina, becoming the queen of 'kinky funk' (or 'putería,' as it is called in Brazil) is no dream. It is inevitable. Young, smart, and determined, with undeniable talent behind the microphone and a mouth even dirtier than that of her male colleagues, Sabrina has everything it takes to succeed in this colorful world of hard beats and unbridled sexuality, but she will have to break through the gates of polite society to get there.
