Fukai Kawa plot

Three lost souls travel to India in search of meaning and forgiveness. Mitsuko has just been divorced and is still feeling guilty. Isobe finds it difficult to cope with the death of his wife. The elder Kiguchi is a veteran who is still haunted by his memories of the war. They are on a bus bound for Benares, a sacred site in India on the Ganges River. The trio are not so much tourists as they are pilgrims, in search of mental peace and spiritual rebirth.
