Frozen plot

The film is about the journey of Lasya, who lives in a remote village in the Himalayas with her financially ruined father Karma and her younger brother Chomo. Pristine, snow-capped peaks surround their tiny hamlet, where the barren landscape stretches for miles into thin air. One day, the army makes camp a hundred yards from their front door. The last remnant of comfort that the family drew from the familiar environment is replaced by a bitter, persistent, irreversible conflict. The family is forced to leave the ancestral home and is petrified. The uncertain future and death hang over them like a dark cloud.
