Frieda plot
"The film that puts the question - Would YOU take Frieda into YOUR Home?"
Robert Dawson is an RAF pilot who was shot down over Germany during World War II. When Robert returns to his home in an English village, he has his new bride Frieda with him. The young German nurse Frieda has helped him escape from a concentration camp. Although Frieda is a convinced anti-Nazi, Robert's family, friends and fellow villagers have a hard time accepting a German in their midst. There is even animosity, especially from Robert's younger sister and war widow Judy. Frieda and Robert's problems are compounded by the arrival of Frieda's brother Richard, who was apparently a conscript in the Polish army, but who is actually a Hitler sympathizer.
