Frans en Duits plot

In 1966, the shy music teacher Frans Tromp (Ramsey Nasr in his first feature film) accepts a job at the only school on Vlieland. He takes his guitar and records of Tchaikovsky with him. He enters into a secret relationship with the future German school director (Pierre Bokma). When the affair is noticed, the school principal chooses to marry the gym teacher on the day of the royal wedding. Frans immediately packs his bags. He only returned in 1995 because of the festive farewell of the director.
