Fools plot
1989. Zamani is a respected resident of the township, despite raping one of his students. The community has closed its eyes to it. Zamani once fought against apartheid, but now that's old news. He teaches history in Afrikaner, and reluctantly prepares for a picnic in honor of the Boers' blood-soaked victory over the Zulus. After a night out, he meets Zani, the brother of the girl he raped, in the waiting room of a station. Zani went to school in Swaziland and has now returned to Johannesburg with the idea that everything has to change. Both face the harsh reality of the townships, and Zani will lose some of his illusions, Zamani regain some of his dignity.
