Firefighter plot

True story about Cindy Fralick, the first woman to join the Los Angeles Fire Department. When Cindy is recruited in 1982, she has to deal with a lot of prejudice and hostility from her male colleagues. Despite the hard training schedule, she perseveres and over time gains the respect of her colleagues.
