Ferien plot
It's summer. In their secluded holiday home deep in the forest of Uckermark, in the north of Berlin, Anna, her husband Robert and their son Max spend the holiday. Their fragile harmony is disrupted as more and more family members show up, unleashing their pent-up hatreds and revealing long-hidden secrets. Laura, the daughter from Anna's first marriage, comes over from Berlin with her partner Paul and their children. Anna's mother, who becomes very ill, also comes to her daughter to be cared for. It soon becomes clear that the relationship between Paul and Laura is full of cracks. The arrival of Sophie, Laura's sister who lives abroad, creates even more agitation.
