Fatma plot

In Sfax, Fatma - a 17-year-old adolescent whose mother has died - lives in a house with her father, her brothers and sisters, and her cousin Taher, who is also staying there temporarily. One night the latter rapes her. The young girl chooses to remain silent and let life go on. After high school she goes to study in Tunis. She is appointed a teacher in a small town and meets a young, brilliant doctor, whom she falls in love with. But the traditional society they live in makes their relationship vulnerable.
