"Believing can be deadly."

When a young woman chooses to have an abortion, a Christian fundamentalist group intervenes. Maggie is seduced by an adoption scheme and agrees to complete the pregnancy, but gradually begins to doubt the scheme. When she's stranded at a remote gas station, she meets wise old radio preacher Isaiah and his reluctant son Manny. She continues her journey with them. When she is chased and forced to pull aside in a wooded area, she comes face to face with her attackers and herself.
