Ex-Flame plot
"Marriage vows broken - truth cast into discord!"
After being happily married for four years on the family estate of her husband Sir Carlisle Austin, Lady 'Kitty' Catherine becomes jealous of Barbara Lacey, Carlisle's ex-flame. Barbara is separated from her American husband and is visiting a neighboring estate with Beaumont Winthrop. Beaumont is Kitty's former lover. Furious at Carlisle's attention to Barbara, Kitty leaves the house with her baby and is later visited by Beaumont. Beaumont turns out to be dying soon and he still wants to declare his love for Kitty.
