El Abrazo Partido plot
This is Ariel's world: a small dingy shopping street in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, where Italian shopkeepers scream all day, the Koreans don't sell Feng-shui and the Old Osvaldo. Where Ariel's mother owns a lingerie shop and his brother owns an import-export business. A small, friendly world, despite the uncertainty and the malaise. Many young people search for the roots of their native lands and try to get a foreign passport, the key to a world full of promises. Ariel wants a passport to Poland where his grandparents came from to escape the horrors of the Holocaust. He wants to understand them. Why did his father leave his family so soon after he was born? Why did he never come back? And why are his mother and brother so indifferent to it. But the truth is changing.
