For neurosurgeon Martha, her work comes first. Everything changes when she hits a Romanian street kid, Gigi, on her way back from her boss's wedding. Gigi works in Germany as a purse snatcher for Romanian gangsters. Martha commits a hit-and-run, but the boy is brought into the clinic with her.
