Een Boogschutter plot

A painter wants to capture the birth of his child on film. He provides a reluctant filmmaker, who finds the subject too personal to film, with plenty of equipment: five rolls of film for his own use and five for the birth. To the painter's anger, the man films the irrelevant events surrounding the birth while awaiting the big moment: people in the studio, looking unnatural and awkward in front of the camera, the doctor, the expectant mother, the painter. When the child is born, the film runs out.
