Dolina Issy plot
The film describes childhood in rural Lithuania between the two world wars. The young Tomaszek lives on a rich estate situated on the Polish border. The Issa Valley, where he lives, is in danger of being torn apart by internal political conflict and unrest among the mixed population of Poles, Lithuanians, Jews and Russians. Tomaszek watches the joy, love, tears and insanity of the adults and feels the magical power of the paradisiacal environment, the forests of Lithuania and his fantasies.
