Die Vermissten plot
Suddenly sixteen-year-old Martha disappears. Her father Lothar, who for years had no contact with her and his ex-wife, is not really willing to look for her. But he soon realizes that other young people in the city are also disappearing inexplicably. Lothar follows their trail across the country. Every now and then he meets a youngster, but his trail comes to a dead end. In the next town on his way, he encounters militia groups and a reinforced police presence. Children are no longer allowed to be on the street, unless accompanied by adults. The world has changed...
