Die Sumpfblume plot

In an artist's studio in Mont Martre, the German sculptor Edgar (Liebesny) meets the model Sandra (Treumann). Sandra has her foot copied in stone by the sculptor. Shortly afterwards, Sandra meets a wealthy aristocrat (Larsen) whom she falls in love with. When she marries him, she rises up the social ladder and becomes one of the notables. But then her husband discovers the statue with the imprint of her foot, and discovers her secret past as a debauched model.
