Die Saat plot
Rainer toils into a sweat on a construction site. His first job as a site supervisor is his much-needed breakthrough. Rising rents in the city have already forced him, his pregnant wife and 13-year-old daughter Doreen to move into a small house on the outskirts of the city. At first, Doreen isn't thrilled about her new life. But then she meets her neighbor Mara, a girl whose parents are as wealthy as they are narrow-minded.
