Die Mutter plot

A day after her sixteenth birthday, Rena Zardiss has disappeared without a trace from a village in Saarland. The police are in the dark. Meanwhile, her mother Vera doesn't give up hope and does her own research, asking critical questions about whether her family was really that harmonious. As the clues to a murder pile up and the family continues to fall apart, Vera stubbornly believes that Rena is still alive.
