Die Katze plot

During a bus trip for seniors, the widow Margret meets the retired Siegmar. Fearing to be alone, they decide to get married. Siegmar moves in with Margret and he takes his cat with him. However, their new relationship turns out to be more difficult than expected, as both have been single for a long time. When Siegmar also finds the cat dead, they decide to silence each other and so the long silence begins.
