Die Kandidaat plot

A young man applies for the chairmanship of the board of the largest African organization in South Africa. His appointment appears to be a fact. His job interview, conducted by a group of 9 people, should be a formality. But a liberal young writer surprises by asking all sorts of unexpected questions. Is he an honest man? What do the dots on his hand mean? Is he in a relationship? It soon becomes apparent that the writer has opened a cesspool that affects not only the life of the applicant, but everyone in the room.
