Die Herrlichkeit des Lebens plot
Kafka is already ill in the summer of 1923 when he goes to the Baltic seaside resort of Müritz to rest. There he meets the aspiring actress Dora Diamant, 15 years his junior, who quickly takes the charming narrator to her heart. The two not only share a common Jewish religion, they also have a number of social and personal similarities. Dora soon learns that Kafka is terminally ill, but still wants to stay by his side and starts a relationship with him.
