Desterro plot
We follow the life of a Brazilian couple, Laura and Israel, in their early thirties, who have a five-year-old son, Lucas. They live together under one roof, but they have lost interest in each other's worries and thoughts along the way. The relationship seems to be short-lived and the only one who is still looking for something in life is Lucas. Then she disappears somewhere in Argentina. During her journey she meets different women who tell us their stories, reflect on the female body, from a complex Latin American society and the world. Is it possible to be a woman on the move?
