Dernier Été plot

Factories are closing their doors and project developers are busy preparing the region for tourism, the new industry. Gilbert looks at it resignedly. He passes the time in the local bistros, along with his friends - truck driver Mario, painter Banane, an imperturbable figure called 'the dumb one' and Gilbert's brother Boule. Each and every one of them try to earn some money with simple chores, but crime beckons. Gilbert seems to get some grip on his life when he meets a girl with whom he wants to leave town. But not after the party goes on a rampage in the countryside with the girl behind the wheel.
