Der Wald in Mir plot

Jan is a biology student with heart and soul. His flat is full of aquariums and terrariums. His love for animals is deeper than for some people. Until one day he meets Alice, a radical environmental activist who shares his enthusiasm for animals. But then Jan ends up in a schizophrenic crisis that turns his whole life upside down and everything seems to end in a chaos of love and delusion.
