Der Eindringling plot

Each Bernd is in his thirties and blinded by an accident with the grill. To prove her independence, she decides not to stay with her dominating boyfriend, Wolfgang Schirmer, a successful lawyer, but to rent a flat of her own. Things really start to go wrong - two years have now passed - when 25-year-old Manne Kobus breaks into her house; he is addicted to playing at the casino and is looking for money to pay his gambling debts. A good rapport grows between the unequal couple, while Wolfgang does not give up hope.
