Deliberate plot

Alice has returned to her old high school to visit her former teacher, Mr. Jacobs. But this is not just any former student visiting her old school to relive the good old days. Years ago, Alice actually had an affair with Mr. Jacobs. She is visiting him now in the hope of an apology. But when she sees him in person again, Alice sees her self-confidence and certainty crumble as they pick up where they left off.
