Debbie plot

When Debbie becomes pregnant by medical student Paul, his family prevents Paul from marrying the love of his life, even though Debbie's father wants nothing more. Debbie gives her child away for adoption and Paul goes abroad for further studies. When he returns and tries to contact Debbie again, she refuses to see him again. However, they run into each other when their child is brought into the hospital where Paul is now director.
