De Kroon plot

Drama based on the events leading up to the wedding of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Máxima Zorreguieta. Minister of State Van der Stoel has been asked by Prime Minister Wim Kok to avert the crisis that threatens to arise when it is clear that Crown Prince Willem-Alexander really wants to continue with Argentine Máxima. Her father, 'wrong' for his involvement with Videla's Argentine general regime in the 1970s, must be persuaded at all costs not to come to his daughter's wedding. On pain of a grumbling people and who knows, a cabinet crisis.
