Dance Magic plot

Johala Chandler comes from a small village and wants to become a dancer. Bold as she is, she storms into the office of a Manhattan theater agency and demands a meeting. Impressed by her guts, the producer offers her a job. One evening the big star of the show turns out to be sick and Johala takes her place. Johala expects to be welcomed as a heroine in her native village, but there her profession is seen as a sinful thing.
