Gaza is a 14-year-old boy who lives with his father Ahad in a small village on the coast of the Aegean Sea. Intelligent and eager to learn, he hopes to continue his studies at a prestigious school in Istanbul. But his father is a respectable fruit and vegetable merchant in his area and sees his son's future very differently. He himself has an illegal side job as a people smuggler and calls on his son to provide temporary shelter for refugees from the Middle East before they continue their journey to Greece. The question therefore arises as to whether it is possible for Gaza to maintain its innocence in such an obscure environment.
