Dag in Dag Uit plot

Six different people from the same street take the bus into town in the morning. Everyone tries to survive this day on the basis of a daily routine. The hurt old teacher Boy clings to the life he knew until then, Linda in love tries to protect her relationship from outside influences, Bart's young family tries to survive in the rut of worry, the insecure teenager Jasper tells his mother that he wants to manage his own affairs, Faridah has to accept that she will never be one of them, and Wanda faces her grief and looks forward to the holiday. At the end of the day, all efforts fade when one of them is struck by death.
