Convenience Store plot

In a suburb of Moscow, a grocery store illegally takes on Uzbek immigrants, a practice that is common there. Among them is Mukhabbat who feels constantly threatened but has nowhere to go. In an effort to protect her child, who is holding the shop owner captive, she sounds the alarm. However, this informs the government of her migrant status. Mukhabbat is forced to return to her homeland, but is determined to get her son back.
