Conquest plot

The mischievous James Farnham leaves his friend there during an expedition to the South Pole. He then accepts military awards for bravery, which should have gone to his late friend. At the pinnacle of his misdeeds, Farnham also claims Diane Holden, his late friend's lover. But then Farnham is confronted by the good-natured Donald Overton with evidence of his deception…
