Compasso de Espera plot
Jorge is a black Brazilian poet who gets involved in discussions about racism in his country. He works at an advertising agency in São Paulo and has an affair with his rich boss. Eventually he falls in love with a young white woman from an aristocratic family, which brings him into conflict with his family.
