"Sometimes a curse can be a gift."
A broke college student decides to play an obscure 1980s computer game with her boyfriend. An unclaimed prize of $125,000 is hidden somewhere in the survival game. However, the young coder unleashes a hidden curse that tears reality apart. As a result, she is faced with terrifying decisions and the deadly consequences. Now she no longer plays for the money, but for her own life.

Atmospheric horror, although it never gets big unfortunately. The film is already trying to make something original out of it. Even though it fits nicely into the genre of Rings, Saw, Escape Room etc. Film doesn't last too long, no superfluous storylines or side characters. Music by Liam Howlett of The Prodigy. It is also a film for pulp horror, I don't think many souls will win the film.
Robert England is part of the cast, but that is not more than filling the pages for the poster. And I see Ridley Scott's name popping up here and there as a producer. But he would be involved for a while when there were still plans to make it into a series. He is not involved in this film.

A special film that in my opinion could have been much more. He didn't come across as exciting to me at all and the music ruined it a bit for me too. Some of the decisions in the film were weird and the acting wasn't convincing either. The only positive was the ''boss'' fight. No idea why she had to face that man. I'm guessing, because he spread the game further?
Film with a lot of potential, but unfortunately it didn't materialize. 2 stars.

Just bad!
The film works irritatingly with loud tunes from the computer game to create tension and has little or nothing to offer in terms of kills, tension, story, characters, locations .... in short a tiring sit. 2/10
