CE2 plot

Claire and Kevin both go to a French village school. They are in the same class, CE2, for children aged eight and nine. Claire is constantly bullied by Kevin and his friends and this even starts to become violent. It seems very difficult to do something about it. Reporting it to the teacher or parents often has the opposite effect. When her mother finally takes action, it becomes clear that Kevin is dealing with a complicated, unsafe situation at home. Against all odds, a friendship develops between the two children and their two families learn to understand each other better.
