Camicie Rosse plot

It is 1849 and the Republican Giuseppe Garibaldi is fighting for a united and strong Italy. With an army of 4000 men, he moves north over the Apennines towards Austria to liberate Italy from the Austrian yoke. However, the army is sabotaged by Frattini, who secretly works for the Austrians. Many soldiers desert, but Giuseppe's wife Anita Garibaldi, whom he had left behind in Rome, joins them and her courage and vitality lead everyone to great deeds.
