Café Odeon plot
The naive Leni (Margrit Winter) leaves the countryside for Zurich when her husband ends up in prison. Because her sister Anni (Sylvia Frank), a prostitute who works from the infamous Café Odeon, is soon to leave for Milan with her boyfriend, Leni can take over their apartment. In order to make some quick money, she decides to follow in her sister's footsteps and seduce the old professor Kartmann (Erwin Kohlund). However, she falls in love with the old married man. Trouble arises when Leni learns that her husband has escaped from prison and is looking for her.
